After just watching the Germany v. Costa Rica match I must say that Germany was ahead of Costa Rica by a large margin. Winning 4-2 without Michael Ballack against a decent team in Costa Rica should put Germany on the map. If Germany wins the next two games we could potentially see a shit team make a suprising run. Next up, Ecuador v. Poland. I'm calling Poland on this one, but this is the World Cup and nothing is guarenteed.:suomi:

Yet again I completely disagree with your opinion. I think the Germans looked very exposed at the back. They got away with it against CR, you play like that against quality competition in the latter stages you start making tee times.

They had a porus defense today. You can't give up 2 goals to Costa Rica and expect the better offensive teams to not do better than that. Also I believe they were playing with one forward.

They were playing the offsides trap and got caught. That's what happened.

Yea, I thought that they played an excellent match. It wasn't pretty, but they obviously got the job done. I wouldn't agree with the offsides trap but they did beat Costa Rica and didn't loose anymore players. I guarentee you by the time they play Ecuador they'll have set up a rhythm worthy enough of the next round. Biatch.

No seriously... what's up bro!?!?! I am loving the games. Go to the coffee shop to watch them everyday. You know here in Costa Rica the fucking matches are on everywhere, gotta love that! Plus hot ladies can be viewed during halftime :)

I am excited about the Germany/Ecuador game too. It will help me gauge Alemania's future in the next rounds. I proudly wore my Germany Jersey to watch the CR/Germany game and would have got my ass kicked hadn't I been with a bunch of Tico friends. I am now the proud owner of the Joma Costa Rica Jersey... buddy lost the bet on the game so we changed Jersey's LOL I dunno who got the better deal?! LOL

I will say this bro... Lukas Podolski needs to get his game straight. He has really disappointed me the last few games and I know he can perform better. Ballack didn't impress me much but I don't want him to reinjure himself so playing safe I am content with.
